Total spending on private education for young children in South Korea, July–September 2024
Child speech technology
Understand your child’s responses. Decide what comes next.
We use children’s own responses to help parents and professionals make informed decisions about what comes next.

Why we started Kaffol Labs
Understanding a child starts with their own responses.
Parents watch their children every day. Yet when an important decision comes, it can be hard to know whether those observations are enough.
That is why we look at the language children understand and express themselves. We help parents think about the conversations they can have with their child, rather than adding to their worries.
The context behind difficult choices
Why decisions have become harder for parents
In South Korea, participation in private education rises rapidly as children grow. More options have made it harder to find a basis for choosing what suits each child.

What we build
One team for assessments and analysis technology.
Kaffol Test
Assessments that consider both children’s and guardians’ perspectives
We offer language assessments in which children participate directly, alongside questionnaires completed by guardians.
Kaffol AI
Understanding children’s voices better
Speech recognition trained for children’s speech is connected with age-based data and evaluation rules to support interpretation grounded in actual responses.
Early field feedback
What we learned from a small pilot
Through small recruitment rounds and consultations, we explored where parents hesitate and what they want to understand better.
Members of a local parent community
Internal survey respondents willing to pay for an education program
Time to fill 10 places in the report MVP
MVP participants who went on to a follow-up consultation
These figures come from small internal studies before launch in 2026. They are early signals from a limited sample and recruitment channels, and do not represent the overall market.
Our principles
A score alone cannot explain a child
We respect children’s responses and clearly state how far our research has progressed. Results should help people continue the conversation.
Children’s own responses
Children respond to pictures and spoken questions by tapping or speaking, rather than relying only on a guardian’s recollection.
Connecting research and technology
We bring psychometric item research and child speech technology into the same product experience.
Interpretation that helps with next steps
Respecting each child’s growth and individual differences, we provide results as a reference for conversations about learning and parenting.
Today and next steps
We distinguish what is available from what is in preparation.
